Project summary
We provided pivotal support to Recharge in defining their future architecture and processes. Simultaneously, we helped them in navigating the selection process for a new platform. After we selected the right platform, our team executed a seamless migration project, encompassing analysis, configuration, testing, go-live/cut-over, and post-launch support.
Our contribution
The Rechargers spearheaded the creation of the target architecture and processes through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders. We facilitated the vendor selection process and created a proposal for the future platform, comparing it with Recharge’s current platform provider.
Additionally, we supported the coordination and execution of the migration project on behalf of Recharge. Our team created and managed the migration plan, created migration scripts, executed E2E testing, coordinated with all eMSPs and roaming partners and the new platform vendor to assure a successful go-live.
Project results
Our intense preparation in a very limited timeframe paid off. Working as one team – Driivz, Recharge and The Rechargers – we managed to complete the cutover of the entire network during a three-hour window with almost zero customer downtime. The system effortlessly handled 20,000 charging sessions on the first two days following the migration, exceeding the expected number of sessions and revenue from ad hoc customers. This quick cutover was crucial, considering the scale and the fact that the Recharge network is an essential part of the infrastructure in the Nordics.
